This is a very simple recipe for salsa soup that my mom taught me when I was still in middle school. It tastes great and takes less than 30 minutes to create from start to finish.
Here is what you will need:
Prep: Start by draining and rinsing your four cans of beans. Then combine the beans, stewed tomatoes, salsa and chicken broth in your cooking pot.
Cook: Place on the stove and cook on high until it boils. Once it boils turn the heat to low and let it simmer for 15 minutes. Then remove from heat.
Serve: Place your tortillas chips in your soup bowl. Pour soup into the bowl. Top it off with cheese and sour cream. Then enjoy!
As always please feel free to share your pictures and tips on how you customized this recipe via the comment section.

YUM! I totally would have been wearing the salsa if I tried to pour it from a bowl like that
Thanks for sharing the recipe, I’m always looking for quick nutritious recipes like that, and it is definitely soup weather in the midwest.
